Mobility

OREEC works for sustainable mobility. Phasing in and increasing the share of alternative fuels is an important focus area that helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve local air quality.

We work in line with national and regional strategies – focusing on business development and R&D in the Oslo region so that business is best positioned to gain market share in a growing global market. OREEC will be pushing decision makers and politicians locally, regionally and nationally to increase focus on the use of alternative fuels and infrastructure development.

Buildings

Buildings

OREEC seeks to ensure that the building and construction industry is working towards its goals for sustainable buildings and an energy efficient environment. We do this in line with national and regional strategies, focusing on business development, R&D and strengthened cross-sectoral cooperation in the Oslo region. Urban construction and area development constitutes central aspects of the Municipalities strategies aiming for a greener and more sustainable future. OREEC’s role is to be a proactive driving force towards Policy makers and authorities at both local, regional and national levels to increase the focus on sustainable buildings and environments.

We will do this in line with national and regional strategies, focusing on business development and R&D in the Oslo region. We will be pushing decision makers and politicians locally, regionally and nationally to increase focus on production and use of renewable energy. A core part of this focus area is the Solar Energy Cluster that we are running.
